Is This Trip For Me?
Whether you have never been birding or are an avid bird watcher already, we can cater this hike to your liking! The standard hike is made to be an introductory to birding where our guide, Nate Brown, will teach you the skills you need to set you up for future success. However, if you have an interest in birding and want a more customized experience, or perhaps are looking to seek out specific birds, we can certainly customize a tour to your desires!
About Nate Brown
Park City local Nate Brown has been leading birding hikes around the area for many years. Simultaneously, he is a member of the local Audubon Society and an experienced guide around the region. Brown has been recruited to assist variable nonprofit organizations with bird identification over the years. When not out birding, Brown is a teacher, making him the perfect guide to assist you in your journey to become a full-blown bird watcher!

Trip Details
We will be offering birding tours daily, either early in the morning or in the evenings when birds are most active. Pickup will either be 30 minutes before sunrise or around 5pm, depending on when sunset is throughout the year. There is a local birding option, which entails two hours on a trail here in Park City, or for those looking for some solitude, we also offer Uinta birding tours in the National Forrest for a four hour excursion. Either option has a two person minimum, and includes the guide, transportation, head lamps if needed, binoculars, field book, and everything else included in a hike.
