There’s something special about fall in Park City.
The summer crowds have thinned out, the aspens start turning brilliant shades of gold, and the crisp mountain air makes you want to spend the whole day outside. Best of all, September through November can bring some of the best weather of the year for exploring the mountains.
If you’re visiting Park City with family or a small group, fall is a fantastic time to trade the ski boots for hiking shoes, bikes, and a fly rod.
And with All Seasons Adventures, getting outside is easy. We provide transportation from Park City hotels—including Deer Valley properties—so you can spend less time figuring out logistics and more time enjoying the day.
Hike Among the Fall Colors

Fall hiking in Park City is hard to beat.
As the aspen trees turn gold, the mountains take on an entirely different personality. The trails are quieter, the temperatures are comfortable, and there’s plenty of scenery to keep everyone interested—from young kids seeing their first mountain wildlife to experienced hikers looking for a little more adventure.
Our guided hikes are a great option for families and small groups because we can tailor the experience to your group’s interests and abilities. Want a relaxed outing with plenty of time for photos? Great. Looking for a more adventurous trail? We can do that, too.
And if hiking poles make your adventure a little more comfortable, we can provide those, too. Just let us know what your group needs.
Because we pick you up at your Park City hotel, you don’t have to worry about where to park, finding the trailhead, or loading everyone into the car. Just grab your water bottle and get ready to explore.
Explore Park City on Two Wheels
Fall is also an incredible time to explore Park City by bike.
One of our favorite places for a ride is Round Valley, a fantastic area for beginner to intermediate riders. With its open mountain views, rolling terrain, and beautiful fall scenery, it’s a great choice for families and groups who want to experience Park City on two wheels without taking on an overly technical ride.
Even better, we provide the bikes and helmets, so you don’t have to figure out how to transport or rent all the gear yourself.

Cool mornings give way to comfortable afternoons, and the changing leaves make every ride feel a little more scenic. Whether you’re new to mountain biking or already comfortable on the trails, Round Valley offers a fun way to get outside and see a different side of Park City.
Just bring your sense of adventure—we’ll take care of the bikes, helmets, and transportation.
Cast a Fly on a Fall Fishing Trip
If your idea of a perfect fall day involves a little more peace and quiet, consider a fly fishing adventure.
Fall can be a beautiful time to be on the water, with cooler temperatures, fewer people, and gorgeous mountain scenery all around you. We fish the lower and middle sections of the Provo River, offering a great setting for both new and experienced anglers.
And you don’t need to show up with a garage full of fishing equipment.
All Seasons Adventures provides the boots, waders, and fishing equipment you’ll need for the day. Our guides take care of the details so you can concentrate on learning, casting, and enjoying your time on the river.
For families, it’s less about how many fish you catch and more about spending a few hours together outdoors. For friends or small groups, it’s a chance to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and maybe share a few stories along the way.
Either way, it’s hard to complain about spending a fall day beside the Provo River.

Why Fall?
One of the best things about visiting Park City in the fall is simply the weather.
September, October, and November offer a great mix of crisp mornings, sunny afternoons, and cool mountain evenings. Conditions can change quickly in the mountains, of course, but fall often provides comfortable temperatures for hiking, biking, and fishing without the heat of summer or the snow and cold of winter.
And then there’s the scenery.
The golden aspens. The blue skies. The quieter trails. The feeling that you have a little more room to breathe.
It’s the kind of setting that makes a simple day outside feel like part of the vacation.
We’ve Got the Details Covered
