Deer Valley Snowmobiling vs Park City Peaks
Deer Valley Snowmobiling offers two hour guided tours at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM daily. They are located near Peoa, a 10-15 minute drive outside of Park City. Their tours offer sweeping views of the Wasatch Mountains. Deer Valley Snowmobiling also offers complimentary transportation from the Park City area.
Park City Peaks is located a 45 minute - 1 hour drive out of Park City. They can provide transportation to their location from Park City for an additional charge of $45 per person. They offer several tour lengths; two hours ($259/driver, $59/passenger), 3 hours ($319/driver, $69/passenger), and four hours ($450/driver, add lunch $9/person). The two hour tours begin at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM daily, and are the most popular option. Their three hour tours offer some additional riding time and are more of a workout, and are offered at 10 AM (includes a lunch break), or 2 PM (no additional lunch break). Their 4 hour half day tour goes higher in elevation, and encounters more powder, so passengers are not allowed on this tour. These tours go out at 9 AM Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Snowmobiling Reviews
“We took some friends with us to Red Pine for snowmobiling. We had just gotten 12" of fresh Utah powder, so the ride was fantastic. We had a gentle cruise through the trees, stopped and played on the fluffy snow, then went to an open field where we were able to free-ride for at least 20 minutes. With all the snow, it was unbelievable. Our guests were ecstatic about it. The guides were fantastic and took anyone for a ride if they were scared. A fantastic day again. Thanks, Red Pine.”

“My husband and I took our teenage daughter on a recent trip. Our first time snowmobiling and what a great time. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our guide, Rob, was great. He was very attentive to everyone in the group and ensured we all felt comfortable with the vehicles. The tour path was beautiful, and the scenery unbelievable. We loved every minute of it. It was also a huge plus that they had the snow gear you could rent for a very reasonable price. We were definitely not cold!”
