One of the best things about winter in Utah is getting outside. It seems the weather is either sunny or snowing, both of which bode well for the newest outdoor craze: Fat Tire Biking.
Fat biking involves oversized tires that allow the rider to glide over snow and other surfaces. Park City has taken fat biking to a new level, with dedicated and mixed use trails that some say are just as much fun as the “brown powder” we get in the summer.
There is a small learning curve, but fat biking can be great for entry level riders. You should plan to be on the snow 1.5 hours, plus time to gear up and get to the trail head.
