What we love about our little mountain town
The saying around Park City goes something like this… You first come here to ski the Utah champagne powder but end up staying for the summer. Our backyard consists of the largest ski area in the United States with over 7,000 skiable acres, 450 miles of single track trails and a vibrant Historic main street. During Sundance Film Festival you’re apt to see more stars than the dark night skies that we are also known for.
Our service staff are generally highly educated most likely have a Master’s degree if not PhD. Contrary to popular belief we do enjoy a craft beer and a locally created spirit from time to time. High West Distillery creates tasty libations and is the one and only place in Utah where you can purchase a bottle on a Sunday!
Sunday’s on Park City’s main street are truly a community affair with Silly Market. Be sure to grab a bag of freshly roasted coffee from Pink Elephant, some locally produced honey from Heber Valley, fresh produce and maybe even a tangy Bloody Mary! Sunshine and live music, what a great way to spend the afternoon with the whole family.
In summer we do get a few hot days but those are easy to beat! White Water Rafting with All Seasons Adventures on the Weber River will keep the family cool as they splash through family friendly whitewater. For those who enjoy a little adrenaline the Utah Olympic Park offers rope courses and zip lines. Driving out of town to the Uinta Mountains gets you into the high country with cooler temperatures and views of Utah’s highest peaks. Bald Mountain pass reaches nearly 11,000 feet if a scenic drive is more your speed.
With so many options it might be hard to know where to start! Give us a call, 435 649 9619, as we specialize in guided activities for the most adventurous to more timid member of the group.
